We have all litter contact details from 2004 onwards but sadly all reciept pads and contact details were lost before this time in a house move. PLEASE anyone with a Wylanbriar Labrador bred between 1994 - 2004 PLEASE get in touch as we would LOVE to send you details and hear your news!

At Wylanbriar we aim to produce and own moderate sized labradors with true biddable temperaments that are equally at home out shooting, on the sofa and in the showring.
We are a small kennel with between 6 and 8 Labradors and we have one maybe two litters a year at most. All our dogs spend a lot of time in the house and ALL our oldies stay with us to live out their lives, indoors, in comfort.
We actively work all our dogs both in the beating line and picking up. They all run in working tests and, if good enough, in field trials and are shown at every level with most Crufts qualified each year. We REALLY care that the breed remains true to its origins of being able to turn its paw to anything! Our dogs also occasionally run in obedience competitions and take their kennel Club canine good citizen awards. We only use stud dogs on our girls who, alongside good health scores, have been either or both shown and worked to good effect. It makes finding excellent husbands difficult, but that is our passion.
** We are proud to have bred a lovely bitch who is now in the last stages of training to become an assistance dog for Dogs for the Disabled, 2 young pups just left for the Dogs for the Disabled training programme at 8 weeks and we are proud that our stud dog 'Deeds' is a preferred sire by DFTD with a number of pups in training with them, and also has 4 youngsters in the Canine Partners for Independance programme. **
The huge responsibility of producing puppies is taken very seriously and our stud dogs are stood to only approved bitches. I judge at open show level and am the Working test secretary of the West Sussex and Hants branch of the Utility Gundog Society. We sell puppies mostly into loving family and pet homes but competition and shooting homes are considered subject to certain conditions.
All our dogs and bitches are BVA/KC hip scored, eye tested, elbow scored and Optigen DNA tested. Advice always willingly given and training for all puppies offered. Puppy price currently regardless of sex or colour £700.00.
